Mail Boxes Etc. Macclesfield on Park Green has become an event partner of the Rossendale Trust, providing printing services at preferential rates and supporting the local charity’s fundraising events, including its forthcoming Fashion Show & Christmas Market.
The Rossendale Trust provides supported living care for adults with learning and some physical disabilities across Macclesfield and Buxton. It also offers informal learning and leisure activities through its Oakwood service, alongside supported work opportunities with local businesses through WorkTaste.
Fashion Show & Christmas Market at Shrigley Hall
The Trust’s annual Fashion Show & Christmas Market takes place at Shrigley Hall, Pott Shrigley, on Thursday 12 November. Tenants and staff will take to the catwalk, while Christmas market stalls give visitors the chance to shop and raise funds for the charity at the same time.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the fashion show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12.50 per person, including a welcome drink, and are available from the Rossendale Trust website.
A practical partnership
Lorena Poltorac, who acquired Mail Boxes Etc. Macclesfield with her partner Jordan Scott in 2025, said: “I contacted the Rossendale Trust because we wanted to see whether there was something practical we could do to help a charity in our own community.
“They were very open to discussing how we could work together. We’ve been looking at their printing requirements and where we can offer better rates, and I’ll also be photographing the fashion show free of charge.
“I used to work as a photographer, so this is a chance to put that experience to use alongside what we do through the store. We want this to be an ongoing relationship, where we can help with the things they need as their events come around.
“The Trust does so much to help people build confidence and independence. We’re pleased to play a part and hope more people will come along to the November event to support its work.”
The partnership means the charity can access print for its events at better rates, freeing up more of the money it raises for the people it supports, while giving the Park Green store a hands-on way to back a cause on its own doorstep.
