Sabre Assessing named Claims Management Service of the Year at the South England Prestige Awards

Portsmouth, October 2026 – Sabre Assessing Ltd, the Portsmouth-based independent loss assessor, has been named Claims Management Service of the Year in the South England Prestige Awards 2026/27.

The Prestige Awards recognise businesses across the region that deliver an outstanding service in their sector. The judging panel reviewed Sabre Assessing’s progress over the past year, including its online customer testimonials, website and social media, and judged entrants on service excellence, industry recognition, marketing and branding, ethical practice and, above all, customer feedback.

Taking the strain from the claim

Founded by director Andy Lyne, Sabre Assessing works on behalf of policyholders, not insurers. When a home or business suffers a flood, fire, escape of water, burglary or storm damage, the team manages the insurance claim from start to finish: assessing the damage, preparing and presenting the claim, negotiating with the insurer’s loss adjuster and making sure the settlement reflects what the policyholder is entitled to.

The firm handles domestic and commercial insurance claims and also supports managing agents with claims across the properties they look after. Sabre Assessing Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 956606).
